Please donate to help keep Music Complex alive!

For decades, Music Complex has provided affordable rehearsal and recording space for thousands of local artists, bands and students alike.

Since moving from the Old Kent Rd in New Cross Gate to Deptford in 2004, Music Complex has become part of the local music community, a place where bands rehearse, artists develop, recordings are made, and students complete practical parts of their music courses.

Today, rising rent and debts built up since Covid are putting that space at risk. We’re asking for your help to keep Music Complex open and available to the people who rely on it. Every donation, however small, helps towards rent, running costs and keeping the rehearsal rooms available for the community.

If you’ve rehearsed here, recorded here, studied here, played here, or simply value independent music spaces, please consider supporting us.

Donate via GoFundMe and help keep Music Complex part of the community.

Great local studio with five well equipped rooms and a recording studio. Backine is top notch (Ampeg, Marshalls and Pearl kits) & storage rates are competitive. Shop is well stocked with musical essentials, refreshments & snacks. There is a lovely rooftop garden/lounge area to chill out between sessions. Lounge area has pool table, Television & small hifi. Studio can also hire out pa systems, backine and drum kits for external events.

It's GREAT here. It's our go-to now, hands down. The rooms and equipment are all great and all in good shape. The staff are super helpful and friendly. And it's also very reasonably priced. So glad we moved our practises to here!

I'm learning to play the drums and the Music Complex was recommended as a rehearsal space by my teacher. I love it here. As a noob musician it could have been a bit intimidating to pop in but the staff are all super friendly and helpful. The facilities are great - 5 practice rooms of different sizes, and very reasonable rates for solo musicians. I've started carrying my drum sticks around as it's so easy to call up on the day and book in. Great place, highly recommend.

Everyone here is so helpful and friendly. And reasonable prices, especially on weekdays. I really appreciate the community spirit and it’s been a life-line for me to be able to rehearse locally.
